Green Spring Healthy Living Expo
I would like to take the opportunity to inform you about an exciting event coming to Central Virginia over the last two weeks of April 2009. GreenSpring: Healthy Living Festival & Expo will be celebrated across Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell and Nelson. Its purpose is to acknowledge and promote the people, businesses and organizations who are helping to make our community healthier and stronger by taking the lead in the local green movement.
Consider participating in this 2nd Annual celebration with a purpose. Throughout the community over the two week celebration there will be numerous visionary speakers, ‘how-to’ workshops, green films, Fair Trade and environmentally conscious shopping seminars, alternative energy exhibits, sustainable land and water use practices, yoga and Tai Chi classes, seated chair massage, informational sessions on delicious organic and locally produced foods, beer and wine tasting and live entertainment. This festival will be highlighted by a one-day green expo on Saturday April 18th, at the Lynchburg City Armory.
GreenSpring is a community supported event that relies on the energy and backing of participants like you. Our sponsorship levels include the Platinum Members, Gold Members, Silver Members, Bronze Members, and Patrons. Please help in any way you feel guided, and know that your contribution will go toward building a stronger and more sustainable Central Virginia.
